Division of Business Opportunities and Development Task Force (Bowd) of the Department of Labor North Carolina (NCDOT) has selected the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) as winner of the ally of the year.

The recognition was given through the joint efforts of both organizations to train construction personnel in the field of safety in the workplace, as well as established programs to reach more Hispanic population cHispanic businesses ertificar construction as minorities to this government entity.

According to the HCAC this award is very important because it is the first distinction received by a state agency, An element that is said to confirm the good moment that this organization founded five years ago.
